Walk in the footsteps of the earliest Christians during the day and study the life and letters of the apostles Paul and Peter at night!

Highlights include visits to the Vatican with its Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Cathedral; the impressive monuments of ancient Rome (Colosseum, Pantheon, Arch of Constantine, Forum, Catacombs, Altar of Peace, and Mamertine Prison—where according to tradition Paul and Peter were held); the ancient harbor city of Ostia; Hadrian’s Villa; the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum preserved by Mt. Vesuvius’ eruption, and Paestum, with two of the best intact Greek temples anywhere. Enjoy the scenic drive around the Amalfi Coast--one of the most spectacular routes in the world.
